Accessibility
MentalHealthAtlas is built to be calm, clear, and usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers or need larger text.
The Listen button
- Select Listen to this page to hear the main content read aloud, one part at a time. It never starts on its own.
- Select Speed to change how fast it reads.
- It uses your device's own voices, so nothing is sent to us.
Display settings
- Two larger text sizes, high contrast, extra spacing, and reduce motion.
- Reduce motion stops the breathing circle. It also stops if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Settings are saved on this device only.
Screen readers
- Every page has one main heading, clear section headings, landmarks, and a skip link.
- Pictures have descriptions. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
- We check every page against WCAG 2.2 level AA.
